Since opening in April of 2007, owners Bev Rockow & Norma Smyka have delighted in putting quality used books into the hands of readers along the Grand Strand.  We have a wide variety of “previously enjoyed” books, as well as cards, gifts, and more.  With over 10,000 books, whether your interest is in popular fiction, classic literature, or something a little lighter, like romance, or westerns, you’re sure to find something to entertain. If you’re looking for non-fiction, we’ve got that, too!  There’s a bit of everything, from politics to history, cookbooks to diets, true crime to autobiographies, spirituality, and more.  We’ve even got some new books by our favorite local authors. Our selection changes daily, and is constantly growing. Of course, if you need help making a decision, as avid readers ourselves, we’re always glad to offer recommendations!    

We offer a generous in-store credit policy which can be used toward the purchase of used books.  You don’t need an appointment to bring books in for credit, but if you have a large number of books (over 50), we may not be able to process them while you wait.  In that case, we’ll advance you some credit on your purchase that day and give you a receipt for the books you have left with us.  If there are items that we cannot use, we will hold them for up to 30 days for you to pick up, or if you prefer, we will donate them to one of our favorite charities.  We take all kinds of books, but there are always certain authors & types of books in high demand.  Stop in to talk books, or just to browse a while.
